Election Time?

I have a dilemma. It looks like a General Election is on the cards. I’m not sure which way to vote.

My head has said for some time that none of the candidates are suitable. I want to show my disapproval both of them, and of our system. Therefore I resolved a long time ago to spoil my paper. Another option would be not to vote, but I want to show that I disapprove, not that I’m apathetic.

My heart is telling me that, this one time, I should vote Labour, just because last time around, Labour was the second-placed party. I mean. I am in a safe Tory seat – Labour received less than half of the votes of the Tory, and other parties received less than half that of Labour. But if there is any chance of unseating the Tory guy, maybe I should take it? Even though I don’t actively support Labour?
